1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using the AsetraX platform at https://assetspropertyhub.com (“Platform”). It applies to all users, including visitors, registered members (Agents, Agencies, and Developers), buyers, and Affiliate Partners.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
This AUP should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement, and Cookie Policy.
2. General Rules for All Users
All users of the Platform must not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation in New Zealand, Australia, or any other applicable jurisdiction
- Post, upload, or share content that is false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, discriminatory, or in breach of any third-party rights
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person, agency, or organisation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, including other users’ accounts, databases, or backend systems
- Introduce viruses, malware, bots, scrapers, or any other harmful code or automated tools to the Platform
- Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam) to other users
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security feature, access control, or rate limiting mechanism on the Platform
- Collect, harvest, or store personal data about other users without their consent
- Use the Platform in any way that could damage, overload, or impair the performance or availability of the Platform or its underlying infrastructure
3. Rules for Agents, Agencies, and Developers
In addition to the general rules above, members with a paid listing account must not:
- Submit listings that are inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, or do not relate to real properties available for sale or lease
- List properties without the authority of the property owner or without holding the appropriate licence, registration, or authorisation required under applicable law (including the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (NZ) or equivalent Australian legislation)
- Use listing content (including photographs, floor plans, descriptions, or pricing) that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Misrepresent membership tier features, listing counts, or platform capabilities to prospective buyers
- Contact buyers sourced through the Platform for purposes unrelated to the specific listing inquiry
- Share or resell their membership credentials or listing access with any other person or entity
4. Rules for Buyers and Visitor Users
Buyers and unregistered visitors must not:
- Use the Platform to gather contact details of agents, agencies, or developers for purposes other than genuine property inquiries
- Submit false or speculative inquiries that are not connected to a genuine interest in a listed property
- Attempt to contact listing members through channels other than those provided on the Platform for the purpose of circumventing the Platform
5. Additional Rules for Affiliate Partners
Affiliate Partners who participate in the AsetraX Affiliate Program must comply with all general rules above and must additionally:
- Only promote AsetraX through honest, accurate, and clearly disclosed channels
- Not misrepresent the features, pricing, or benefits of AsetraX membership in any promotional material
- Not use paid search advertising that targets AsetraX branded keywords (e.g. “AsetraX”, “Assets Property Hub”) without prior written consent from AsetraX
- Not place affiliate links on websites or platforms that contain illegal, adult, or otherwise objectionable content
- Clearly disclose their affiliate relationship with AsetraX to any audience in accordance with applicable advertising standards (including the Advertising Standards Authority guidelines in New Zealand and the Australian Association of National Advertisers Code of Ethics)
- Not use cookie stuffing, click fraud, misleading redirects, or any other deceptive technique to generate affiliate commissions
- Not self-refer or refer any entity they directly control to generate commission
- Not direct prospective buyers to specific listings, properties, agents, agencies, or developers on the Platform, or act as an intermediary in any property transaction in connection with their affiliate activity
Breach of these affiliate-specific rules may result in immediate termination of affiliate status, forfeiture of any pending commissions, and recovery of commissions already paid where fraud or material misrepresentation is involved.
6. Content Standards
Any content you submit to the Platform – including listing descriptions, profile information, messages, reviews, or comments – must:
- Be accurate and not misleading
- Comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection and fair trading laws in New Zealand and Australia
- Not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
- Not contain personal data about any third party without their consent
- Be in English (or accompanied by an accurate English translation)
AsetraX reserves the right to remove or edit any content that does not meet these standards without prior notice.
7. Enforcement
AsetraX may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:
- Remove or disable access to any content that breaches this AUP
- Suspend or permanently terminate the account of any user who breaches this AUP
- Report conduct to relevant regulatory authorities where required by law
- Pursue civil or criminal remedies for serious breaches
Where a paid membership is terminated for breach of this AUP, no refund will be issued. Termination does not limit any other right or remedy AsetraX may have.
8. Reporting a Breach
If you become aware of any content or conduct on the Platform that may breach this AUP, please report it to us at:

We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action, though we are not obliged to inform you of the outcome.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
