6.1 How Long We Keep Your Information

Account and Profile Information:

  • Deleted within 30 days of account termination (unless retention is legally required)

Listing and Content:

  • Kept as long as the listing is active
  • Deleted when the listing is removed or expired
  • May be retained in backups for up to 90 days

Payment and Billing Information:

  • Retained for 7 years (as required by tax laws in NZ and Australia)
  • Payment card details are not retained by AsetraX (processed by Stripe/PayPal)

Communications and Support Tickets:

  • Retained for 2 years from the date of last activity
  • Deleted after 2 years unless legally required to retain

Analytics and Logs:

  • Technical logs retained for 30-90 days
  • Google Analytics data retained per Google’s retention settings (typically 26 months)
  • IP addresses retained for security purposes (30-90 days)

Legally Required Information:

  • Tax records retained for 7 years (Australian Tax Office, Inland Revenue Department)
  • Dispute or investigation records retained for the duration of the dispute or investigation

6.2 Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to legal and contractual obligations. We will delete information within 30 days of your request, except:
